Law Again?

Was reading the MSNBC News, the Senator lose by one vote in trying to ban the burning of flags. Then I starts to wonder. Their rights in free speech is so strong, they even need voting to ban something this offensive. Nobody should ask what would happen if someone were to burn Singapore’s flag in Singapore. Because the answer is so damn clear. You'll not only be charge for the act, you might probably be charge for arson too. It’s a common practice here that they will try to squeeze as much juice out from you (Charge you as much as they can). Burn a Singapore flag infront of the crowds in town and the next thing you know, you're in prison for a very long time. Bring in 396.2g of heroin in Singapore and the next thing you know, you're dead.

Justice is justice but cruelty is cruelty too. That Australian guy who was hanged here in Singapore because of smuggling drugs doesn't do any harm to anyone. Even smoking is more harmful than this. Seriously, what rights do you have to take his life when he haven't taken anyone’s life. Isn't that like playing god?

don't you try to be god by deciding what justice to be serve onto anyone as you don't own them nor create life for them. Therefore you don't have the rights, knowledge nor strength to decide the absolute truth.

To think of it, the law is not that rational after all. Talk about Medical Cannabis. It can help cure Migraine, Depression, Hepatities C, Diabetes and lots more. Cannabis is a herb and not a drug to start with. Who told you to smoke cannabis? Anything that is smoked, inhaled into your lung is bad. Instead, you can bake cake, herbal soup and other extraordinary recipes using cannabis. It will make you have the appetite to eat. It doesn't make people violent like alcohol does. But if you're caught with 500g of Cannabis, you're dead. The only rednecks in Singapore are the prosecutors.

They should ban Alcohol too. It’s harmful, causes too much death due to drink driving and they cause violence. Not forgetting alcohol also makes you dumb and stupid if consume too much. Nonetheless, it’s good for dissinfecting your stomach so you will have lower chances of getting food poisoning.
Talking about drugs, smoking or drinking doesn't mean I practice it. I'm using these subjects to get my points clear. I have to say this everytime I write something like this because some people are just plain stereotypes (Hint for Diana and her group of friends).

What’s with me and rambling on the law anyway? Perhaps it’s that big “HU HA" that you can't smoke at coffeeshop anymore and everyone seems to always complains about it. Let me say this again, I have no complains on that. This big “HU HA" will eventually fade away like the banning of chewing gum years ago. Oh yeah… In case you don't know, you can still buy chewing gums LEGALLY in Singapore at any Guardian Pharmacy (Don't expect fruity bubble gums). If you just know this and plan to get them, don't be an asshole and starts spitting gums everywhere. I'm sure they're gonna ban that damn thing again.
