How To Socialize…
Don't you think it’s irritating that for some people, they call socializing as flirting. I still remember quite a number of months back, I went to the club and met this guy whose a photographer. When I told my girlfriend (At that time) that, she said this, “Why are you talking to guys? Why don't you talk to the girls there? I'm sure there’s alot of pretty girls in the club". Why can't I talk to guys? Alright, atleast she don't call that flirting. The following months, I was introduced to some of her friends. Ofcourse I communicate with all of them boys and girls equally (Even though I find them unsociable at all). I don't quite remember when but weeks had past and she was saying, “Why are you flirting with my friend?". Well, particularly she was mentioning her girlfriends. Eventually, one of her girlfriend spread words that I was flirting with her. This wasn't healthy. Why would I want to flirt with my girlfriend’s friend?
There was a confusion between flirting and socializing.
In the dictionary, flirting means, “Playful behavior intended to arouse sexual interest". The keyword here is, 'intended’. Now why would I intended to arouse sexual interest on my girlfriend’s friend? I guess I have to make my intentions clearer the next time.
Talking to guys makes you appear gay?
This is the ultimate reason why I don't usually talk to guys I don't know. Comparing being called a flirt and a gay, I would rather be called a flirt. Sometimes when I do talk to guys is when there’s something to talk about for example, “Hey, nice shirt. Where did you get it?" Talking to guys do worth your time because they're more likely to own a business, they're more likely to talk something productive, you can talk about sports, politics and whatever you name it. But unfortunately when I did, they started to ask, “Are you straight?"
I went to meet a female friend and we went to dinner. After that, we were looking for a cafe with wireless internet access. On our way, my friend met her male friends. After a quick chat, I asked her, “Let’s sit with them". And so we did. These guys are very funny. We get along well.
I went across the border with 3 of my female friends. One of them invited a guy. First look, I don't think I can get along with him. He looks like a gangster. After a few hours, I found that he’s not a gangster. The girls call him 'friendster’ because he looks like a gangster but he’s friendly (Friendly gangster). Never judge a book by it’s cover.
Conclusion
It seems to me that getting to know someone well, involves being 'networked’ by someone you already knew. Talking to the same sex without being 'networked’ makes you look gay. Talking to the opposite sex makes you look like you're flirting. What I've learnt was that you gain more by being friendly. No matter what people say, whether you're gay or you're flirting, as long as your intentions are clear, just don't give a shit about them. For them, being narrow minded doesn't bring you any good. What they get is hatred.

Hello there… you mean this entry or the whole blog?
Fyi, www.eddyvlad.com was down for nearly 4 weeks because my webhost owe Pacific Internet (IDC* owner) alot of money. Because my host handles all the domain registration, unfortunately not only I can't retrieve my data from that server, I also cannot control my domain, which was eddyvlad.com. Fortunately after some time and legal actions were taken, I got my domain in my hands once again but I still can't retrieve my old website. Unfortunately, the owner of the hosting company is in jail and there’s no way we can get our hands on our data. We just have to keep buggin Pacific Internet (IDC* owner) for our data since they've hijacked the server and won't allow us to touch it.
Fortunately, I'm working at an I.T company and I'm hosted on my company’s server. But the server is in U.S. I don't like the lag (Further). Singapore server is faster for me (Nearer)
*Internet Data Center (IDC) is a place established by a service provider to provide stable and wide-band networks and high performance computers as a service to their customers. Most of the IDC runner are telecom corporations.
